WATCH LIVE: Tornado Warning issued for Comal County
SAN ANTONIO — A Tornado Warning is in effect for Comal County until 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Meanwhile, a Tornado Watch remains in place for Bexar County and surrounding areas until 5 p.m. Tuesday. Rain continues to come down in some parts of the region, mostly to the north of the city.
A Tornado Warning for the Boerne region expired earlier in the morning. That cell headed to the Austin region, where our sister station says a tornado touched down in Bastrop County.
Tuesday’s weather didn’t seem to knock out power for too many Bexar County residents; as of 11:55 p.m., about 850 were experiencing outages.
Meanwhile, a handful of streets in Boerne are closed due to flooding concerns as rain continues to come down in the region. In Bexar County, Hausman, Old Frederickburg at County Line and Southwell are closed; you can stay up dated on the county road closures due to high water levels here.
